Pupils at Elsenham had a sublime time with slime during an interactive science day - thanks to the fundraising efforts of FOES.
A ‘professor’ from the educational Mother Nature Science company delivered an exciting assembly to the whole school to introduce the day’s fun. Each class took part in a slime-making workshop in Acorn class, each with an age-appropriate focus.
Children were then able to take their slime home.
Science subject leader Miss English said: “It was wonderful to see the children so enthused in learning something new. The children had a fab time and it was a great way to celebrate British Science Week.
“We are very lucky that FOES have funded this Science Slime day for the children and would like to say a big thank you to them. The pupils had a really fun and memorable experience and will hopefully ignite children's passion for science!”
British Science Week is celebrated across the country and gives teachers a platform to stimulate pupils with science-related topics.
