Music
Music
The music curriculum is designed to allow children to participate in a range of musical experiences and enrichment opportunities, which develop and inspire musical appreciation. Children gain a deep understanding of what the music curriculum entails, whilst also developing an appreciation for various genres, composers and musical styles.
Music Leaders in Learning
Eloise and Faye, who are the Leaders in Learning for music, helped the Year 3 pupils create their very own musical instruments. They gathered all the resources together and then showed the group step-by-step instructions on how to make the rattles. The children used cups, lots of beads, paper plates and Sellotape to create the wonderful instruments. The children were shocked at how simple but effective the rattles were. They then used the rattles as a background instrument when singing lots of different Christmas songs. Well done Faye and Eloise!
The Elsenham Choir sang at the Church Club Christmas Lunch in December and all of us at Elsenham School were so proud of them! They sang loudly, clearly and with great enthusiasm. They even received a certificate from the Church Club for our fantastic performance. Well done to The Elsenham Choir!
