PSHE

The aims of personal, social, health and economic (PSHE) education in our school are to open the children’s eyes to the wonders of the world around them both now and in the past; how it relates to them and how it will influence their futures. Through supporting their wellbeing and attainment, we aim to empower them to become successful, resilient and happy adults who make a meaningful contribution to society.

Leaders in Learning

Our PSHE leaders in learning planned, taught and evaluated a lesson on feelings with Cherry class this half term. They read ‘Ruby’s worry’ and shared times when they may have felt worried. Cherry class children were given ‘feeling flashcards’ and given scenarios by our leaders. They were able to talk about which flashcard they chose and why. The leaders in learning were incredibly organised and taught the younger children with understanding and passion. They even brought along stickers to reward everyone for their contributions at the end!

Well done!
