We aspire to expose our pupils to a broad and ambitious Modern Languages curriculum, which is rich in skills and knowledge, develops confidence and a curiosity and tolerance of other cultures.

On Thursday 26th September, we embraced the 23rd European Languages day with gusto! Greeting each other in different languages, learning and locating European countries, sharing our own experiences of different places, and learning a song in French were particular highlights.

Oh la la!

This week, our Leaders in Learning for French, Rose and Louise, delivered a superb lesson. They shared some information about France and explained why they are so passionate about learning the French language. Then they taught Edie, Esme, Eva, Oscar, Zac and Blake to count to ten, the colours of the rainbow and various greetings. New friendships were formed and everyone left the session feeling confident about speaking French. Rose and Louise cannot wait for their next session.

Magnifique!
